Yeah, epic spoilers for Glee last night. UNDER A CUT. So if you don't like the show, don't have to read my squeeing, and if you haven't seen it and don't want to be spoiled... well, likewise! :D
Well I was so super excited to see the show coming back on the air, so I guess I was automatically biased. Did I like the episode? OF COURSE. Heh. But I sort of really hated Rachel in it. I mean... Hmm. I don't know. On the one hand, she grew a lot as a character, but on the other - well, she did stay to watch Vocal Adrenaline while everyone else was with Quinn and her baby. I dunno - maybe the summer changed things? Whatever; I should be concerned with consistency and character development and all that (and I am, for the most part), but there's singing. :3 That sort of steals my attention. I absolutely loved the version of "Listen" Charice did. I read an article or something that said she hadn't even been approached to do Glee or anything, so I wondered if she appeared because of the rumor (like she asked to be on the show, or they saw she'd be cool with it and asked her), or if that was leaked and they just denied it. I don't know. Interesting, though. Anyway! Yeah - she's got a great voice.
And Sam! Adorable. :3 He's so blond and cute. I wonder if he's the love interest for Kurt? I heard rumors there would be a football player guy, and I'm betting that - if that's so - he's the one. At the very least he should add something interesting. I was disappointed to see Matt was gone; I mean, he was only there to advance a plot from season 1, but I always really liked him and Mike for some reason.
Which, by the way, was TOTALLY my favorite part of the episode: more Mike Chang! He's so cute and such an amazing dancer. :3 Yay for more screen time. I hope he gets to play a bigger part, though; this thing with Tina? Eh.
Anyway, yeah. I don't really have much to say. Only that I will probably be addicted again soon; I do love tv - it's such a good distraction.
By the way: is that thing with twitter resolved (does anybody know)?
