So, if you ever get a chance while running a 102 temp, I totally recommend VH1's 40 Most Awesomely Bad #1s. Chock full of cheesy 80s and 90s songs and videos, it's unbelievably entertaining between the actual weirdness and the weirdness your fever will then project onto it.

So I have this condition called Tinnitus.  It's annoying, but relatively benign.  Just this usually faint ringing/buzzing/hissing sound in my ears.  Can't physically block it out, as it originates inside my head, but I can usually kind of tune it out, or override it with background noise.  Not overly bad most of the time ( Read more... )

So apparently, though it was near 70s on Tuesday, sometime while I was sleeping/puttering around on Wednesday a big snow/ice thing came through.  I found this out at about 7 am when I got hungry for a burger and wandered out to Steak 'n' Shake.
