Ever since I got back to Denison 2 days ago, it's been abnormally warm here. I mean, it's almost December, and it's in the mid-60's! Okay, so right now I'm in the Hartford/Springfield airport, waiting for my flight to Columbus, which isn't supposed to leave until 9:20am -- yeah, people were were travelling today were advised to arrive at the airport 2 hours early, and, of course, I didn't need to get here that early, but oh well. Hey, I don't know how many of you have Netflix, but you definitely should try it, because it's totally awesome! We have it at home (in CT) but I also have a subscription at college, and I get 2 movies at a time (unlimited) for like $16/month, which isn't too bad. Last night, my mom and I went to my high school's production of the musical comedy, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying"; my brother was playing alto sax in the pit orchestra, so we definitely needed to go, but I'm sure I would've gone even if he hadn't been taking part in it (after all, I was in shows there, and I know some people ( Read more... )

Only one more day until I go home, yay!! Well, it's not like I don't like Denison--because I LOVE it--it's just that I really miss my home, family, etc. and it'd obviously be totally awesome to have a break from schoolwork. It is WAY too cold for October. But I should be used to the weirdness of Ohio weather by now -- seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if we have one day (or even a week) of hot weather during the winter or early spring; that's just how unpredictable Ohio weather is.
