You remember my friend, Rachael, right? The one whose room is right next to mine, and who had to go home about 5 weeks ago because she was feeling horrible (stomach pains and all that jazz) -- well, I thought she was going to come back to school after Thanksgiving break, but, unfortunatley, she can't come back until next semester, which really sucks. But at least I get to see her (and chat for awhile), because she's here right now with her dad, picking up some of her things and getting some other things worked out (like meal plan and such--I mean, she's already missed a huge chunk of the semester). I feel really bad for her! It must be really hard to not be able to come back to school; I know it'd be difficult for me, too, and she's still in pain, even after her surgery and everything. She's so nice too, because last night she gave me my Christmas present! Well actually, she gave me 3 things: Christmas-like pretzels decorated with icing and m&m's (I'm sure those'll be yummy--she and her dad made/decorated them), warm & fuzzy socks, and a $15 Gap gift card! Luckily, I had a present for her, which I got last Saturday when I was shopping in Olde Mistick village with my mom, but I still feel like what I gave her (a little change purse) isn't comparable to what she gave me. Oh well. I'm sure she doesn't mind.
You Are Picky When it Counts
You definitely act like an adult sometimes, but a big part of you is still a kid at heart.
While your immature side is definitely fun, you're going to have to grow up sooner or later.
