This week, I dealt with icy sidewalks of death, went to the doctors, saw the sun for the first time in days, and visited Den Haag for the first time.

This week was a bit of a challenge because I stayed home sick on Thursday and Friday.  I also had a hard time sticking to just one photo a day so I have a few bonus photos.

Meet Kikker. He is the mascot of the Dutch classes at my school and a character in a popular series of books for children.

I have decided to do a Photo of the Day for this year. I am hoping this will be a kick in the butt to get me in the habit of bringing my camera around and documenting more of our adventures in Amsterdam.
