I finally finally got my drums for Rock Band 2...and the yellow pad doesn't work. Doesn't register at all that I'm hitting it. *HEADDESK*

AND OF COURSE you can't just return the blasted thing to the store--oh no! You have to contact EA & jump through hoops, etc. until they're willing to send you a new one.

This is a weird week.

My toe seems to be finally healing, thanks to the cortizone pills my doctor put me on yesterday--apparently it's NOT impetigo, but some sort of reaction to something in the cup the cut my toe.  Damn made in china stuff!  But hey, I can wear shoes again!  Hurrah!
