This is the only icon in the group that I myself made. I'm proud of it. Audrey Horne has become one of my favorite Twin Peaks characters over the years -- I didn't really like or get her when the show originally ran. It helps to know the context of this scene, I think, but even if you don't, she's a lovely, devious woman. And who can resist a woman with a playing card stitched to her lingerie? Certainly not Ben Horne. SUCK ON THAT, SPN FANDOM -- TWIN PEAKS DID INCEST FIRST. ahem.
I'm one of the few fans who remains glad that Audrey and Cooper never got together. I like Audrey as a free agent. I bet she's running that town by now. Also, now this icon reminds me of oddmonster.

Willow Willow Willow. My favorite Buffy character, probably for painfully obvious reasons. Well, I take it back, my favorite character was either Oz or Faith, but I identified most with Willow. Willow was smart and awkward and funny and loyal and painfully shy and kicked ass. Eventually. Also, she was entirely too human, which I liked. I still have an unwritten essay in my head about Willow. But this icon? This is my dubious "uh, wha?" face. I don't use the icon nearly enough, not as much as is warranted on the internets, that's for sure. I love the cropping, it's perfect.
3. Girl!Tony

I'm not entirely sure what to say about Girl!Tony other than she came along precisely at a time when Iron Man fandom's conception of women was giving me conniptions and she took on a life of her own, so that sometimes in The Hivemind it can be hard to tell which Tony we're discussing at any given moment. G!Tony exists because quigonejinn took genderswap to a place I've never seen it taken, a place where it's not just about slapping girl parts on a male character for the porn and LOLs. A place where the implications are fully thought out, from the ground up. And then dafnap gave her physical form. G!Tony is angrier than Boy Tony. She's Boy Tony without all the advantages that being a playboy genius gets you just because you're a man. G!Tony totally did Christine, and it was hot.
Because really, where are the girl genius superheroes? Huh? Girl genius engineer superheroes. Yeah, not thick on the ground, are they?
