So out of the wedding gifts, we went ahead and got the Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer (which is on sale 20% off this week at The Bay, should anyone be interested). I just purchased ingredients for what will likely end up being the most fabulous meal I've ever made.

And it's still around $10 a person. Not counting wine, of course.

And FYI - the Highland Superstore has the freshed bagels I've ever seen in a grocery store. Ohmygod.

Real maple syrup is an acceptable (and actually preferable) substituted to boiling exploding sugar water.

And low fat granola is yummy. And hopefully as high in fibre as I think it is.
