So...time to start thinking on themes. Not my favorite subject when it comes to writing. I've always had a hard time recognizing them in stories -- published ones as well as my own written ones. When I get back into writing...I don't do it with a somewhat easy (aka research lite) genre. No. I have to go for the historical romance. Regency, which I am pretty familiar with but will still require a good amount of research if I want to do it properly. My muse was good for about 2 pages of story but the struggle for every single word on those pages has left me with the beginnings of a migraine headache (thinking positive here) so I'm going to retire from the writing field and call today's battle a draw.
