Hullo.

I was wearing them this morning.

We went to the park. I switched out my glasses for my sunglasses. I have looked all over the house...under the furniture, in bags, drawers, on top of things.

HOW can I lose a whole pair of glasses???

So, I exercised yesterday and today.

Today, for the first time, I stuffed myself into my swimsuit and tried the pool. It's 25 yards in length, and I did 25 laps (rotating various strokes, and with breaks to catch my breath). I learned several things:

Things I love:

• I can look UP at the rain and smile into it falling on my face.
  
• I can walk in the rain without staring DIRECTLY at the pavement to keep my glasses from getting sprinkled.
  
• I don't get the steaming-up thing when I walk in and out of different climate buildings or open the oven.

You know what I love most about my new glasses?

The fact that they work so well that, after 10-30 minutes on the computer without them, I realize that my eyes are wandering and complaining...and am reminded to go get the things ( Read more... )

And tonight, Ben figured out how to climb the gates--and then remembered how he did it so he could duplicate the effort. We found this out while I was updating Husband on doctors and school in our room and suddenly, here comes little toddling boy.
