Vision and embroidery

Aug 18, 2011 16:59

I was embroidering in the van yesterday and the day before...and was saying how dim things were and how much I need Old People Glasses to see the little stuff. I was telling Husband that the points of the needles and the holes in the fabric and the entry points of the stitches and such were SMALLER than they used to be. Really. Even when I tipped the fabric toward the sun coming in the windows.

Then I realized I had my sunglasses on.

D'oh.

You'd be amazed (amazed!, I say!) by how much more precision you can see without sunglasses on.
