On Monday, I graded 52 papers.

Tonight, I graded up a storm at a local restaurant. It was very productive and I got my half of the questions graded for 80 Macbeth tests (my student teacher is doing the other half of the questions: there are 16 quotes, and the students have to identify and write about 8 of them, whichever 8 they choose...or more ( Read more... )

Okay...so I talked about the proposed boycott of Chicago schools on the first day due to the inflated school funding in the suburbs and the complaints that Chicago's schools are underfunded. I did my taxes on the Illinois free efile site 2 Saturdays ago.

They deposited my refund by the following Thursday.

That's under four business days.

Woo.

Now to wait for the federal refund to hit the account.
