Things that were good about today:

• I'm still pleased that we have an appointment for Friday...and now we have a child care plan.
  
• I think going over students' writing in freshman classes on the overhead was tremendously effective.
  
• Nice snuggling with Ben last night.

My daughter and I just played our Very First Game of Candyland!!!!

She was a natural. She followed the rules, and took her turn. She seemed to have a good time, although she got impatient in the last stretch.

And she won!
