I'm very proud of myself. I returned to Tae Kwon Do Thursday before last, then went again last Thursday and regularly since then. I re-learned my yellow belt form (which I TOTALLY buggered today at testing despite totally knowing it). I have relearned and stepped right back into doing great on all my punches, kicks...everything except stamina.

Also? I can do twelve real pushups in a row. Slowly, to be sure, and not deeply, but real ones and twelve of them. *beam*
And I've been doing weights 2-3 times a week (I figured you'd be proud) and trying to do something active every day, but I'm only going to go to TKD like 3 times a week; the high impact is just too much for my joints (at least at this weight).
And the injury...it was the stupid thing, not from fatigue or exercise or anything. So, hopefully, I'll be fine AND stick with the exercise (which is always the hard part)...especially since I'm going to take classes this fall again.

What's ironic is that I'm hilariously strong in upper body and pathetically weak in lower body. Additionally amusing, I can do 3x12R 40# more easily with triceps than with biceps...and to do that same with hamstrings? Just about kills me and I feel it for THREE DAYS. Seriously.
My back is strong-ish, but needs more strength (which I'm working on). My legs are...just sad. My abs are...sad (and, again, working on it, but I find it HARD to work on effectively). The thing I know I need to do is to strengthen everything around my knees, too.
And lose weight so I'm stressing everything less. But that involves a lot of paying attention to food, and that way, for me, inevitably lies madness (literally).
