This weekend was SCBWI MD/DE/WV. So, I've been absent from LJ for a while because things have been nutty with finishing up the book and all the fall conferences. Two weekends ago I went to SCBWI Western Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh. SCBWI MD/DE/WV was absolutely wonderful! Had a great time, and it looks like next year it might be VERY close to me! Hoping to do some volunteering there and become more active. While I wasn't able to go to SCBWI Mid-Atlantic because of a little thing called a honeymoon, I was able to attend the Western PA one with my mom a couple of weekends ago. Well, that was probably the most invigorating SCBWI conference I've ever attended. Very glad I went!
