“Again,” said Teal’c’s voice, and Mitchell stopped in the corridor outside the gym.
There was a pause.
“No, Vala-Mal Doran, you must appear calm.”
“But I’m trying to look scary,” protested Vala.
“Precisely. Nothing is more terrifying than the perception of controlled rage.”
“Ah, I see! Let me try again…”
Mitchell pushed open the door, “What is going on in here?”
They looked up from where they had been staring at each other across the weight bench.
“Muscles is teaching me to do that eyebrow thing,” said Vala. She arched one eyebrow, then grinned. “What do you think?”
“Needs work.”
