“What’s here?” asked Torres.
“You didn’t shake it, did you? It says fragile for a reason.”
“No,” said Knight. “You’re not going to open it?”
“It’s my typewriter, I sent it out for repairs.”
Knight frowned. “That’s it?”
“Hey, it’s important. I’ve had so many ideas, and I haven’t been able to write any of them.”
“You… have a computer?” said Torres.
McGee shook his head. “It’s not the same.”
His partners shared disbelieving looks where he couldn’t see them, then got back to work.
