“Hey!” grumbled McGee. “I thought there weren’t any cookies left.”
Tony shook the crinkly cellophane-wrapped treat. “To the victor go the spoils.”
“What victor? I did just as much work as you.”
“And yet, I have the last cookie.”
“Because I had go wash my hands again after going through the trash!”
“Yeah, that’s true,” Tony allowed, then smiled. “Split it with me?”
McGee smiled back. “Sure.”
“DiNozzo, McGee!”
They looked up in time to catch two packages thrown with Marine-sniper precision.
“Boss?”
“Snagged you the last two ice creams,” said Gibbs. “Good work today.”
They both grinned. “Thanks, boss.”
