Please keep me - and Sam cat - in your good thoughts. He hasn't been well lately, enough so that I'm taking him to the vet this Monday ( Read more... )

Phoebe's lucky she has you and not my mom. If it were her (Mom), she'd have her put down at the first sign of serious illness. No joke. You remember how bad she (and Dad) fucked me over on Neko. Now they're threatening to do it again with Sam and I'll be goddamned if I let that happen.

My SIL said tonight that as long as Sam's still eating, drinking and using the litterbox normally, that's a good sign (which is what I think too), so I hope she - and you - are right and that it's something that can be easily treated.

In the meantime, I'm going to be a nervous wreck... :(

Thank you. I do too. He's my baby-buddy - been with me for 13 years. I at least want him to outlive his brother Charlie, who made it to 14 before liver disease got him (one of the worst Christmasses ever)...

Sending good thoughts and healing energy for Sam. I hope it's nothing serious or expensive. **BIG HUGS**

As long as the expense doesn't cross 2000 bucks, I can deal with it. (I'm using my credit card so it will take me forever to pay it off, probably, but better that than nothing) I just hope to God it's easily treatable. I don't know what I'm going to do if my mom tries to fuck with me if the news comes back bad. (She told me tonight I can't have his ashes. WTFUCKINGFUCKMOM.)

How can she keep you from having his ashes? You can put them in your room and she doesn't have to see them. Or you can put them out with the other kitties in the barn and she doesn't have to see them. Why would it bother her if you kept his ashes? That makes no sense. You're a grown up, not a 12-year-old kid. Sorry that she's being that way about it. :/

I have no idea what her problem is, but I've made up my mind that she's not going to interfere with me from here on out. In any case, I just updated - Sam got good news at the vet's today, so thank God for that.
