Please keep me - and Sam cat - in your good thoughts. He hasn't been well lately, enough so that I'm taking him to the vet this Monday.
He's lost his voice - when he tries to meow, it's either silent or this scratchy croak comes out. He's also been throwing up more than usual, though it's mostly just clear fluid (and a bit of food). He still eats, sleeps and uses the litterbox normally that I can tell, but something's up. Today I noticed that he's got the same crap leaking from his eyes that Teddy and Taffy had, so I'm guessing that somehow he caught the conjunctivitis from them (somehow I must have accidentally transmitted it, because Sam is indoors-only and T & T are out in the garage).
I hope to God whatever it is that it's easily treatable and won't cost too much (in terms of vet bills). I just can't take losing another pet (especially my favorite) at Christmas. I just can't.
