Please keep me - and Sam cat - in your good thoughts. He hasn't been well lately, enough so that I'm taking him to the vet this Monday

As long as the expense doesn't cross 2000 bucks, I can deal with it. (I'm using my credit card so it will take me forever to pay it off, probably, but better that than nothing) I just hope to God it's easily treatable. I don't know what I'm going to do if my mom tries to fuck with me if the news comes back bad. (She told me tonight I can't have his ashes. WTFUCKINGFUCKMOM.)
How can she keep you from having his ashes? You can put them in your room and she doesn't have to see them. Or you can put them out with the other kitties in the barn and she doesn't have to see them. Why would it bother her if you kept his ashes? That makes no sense. You're a grown up, not a 12-year-old kid. Sorry that she's being that way about it. :/
I have no idea what her problem is, but I've made up my mind that she's not going to interfere with me from here on out. In any case, I just updated - Sam got good news at the vet's today, so thank God for that.
Indeed I am. :) And my little buddy's been acting more like his normal self today - more active and sociable, and even is starting to get his meow back!
