peepitude just turned me on to The Public Radio Talent Quest competition that starts up next week.
I know I'm interested and I know some others out there (looks in the direction of enlightened77 and bentrazor) will be at least a little interested.
Sad to say, I don't listen to a lot of public radio. Heck, I don't listen to a lot of radio, period. But it's an opportunity and who are any of us to not take a few minutes, record something and put it out there?
So, there ya go. Something to do. :)
