Been there, done that... in fact every once and awhile I'll still hear one of my recorded Station ID tags; or someone will say, "but I thought you left XXI?"

I got to meet Diane Rehm, tho. She actually admired my lack of "defined direction in my life" and my tendency to go where the opportunity and "new thing" is. that was oddly validating.

And I'm feelin' ya on the going nowhere at the speed of blah thing. I feel that way regularly. The worst days are the ones where I'm just hoping the Apocalypse will come crashing down so I'd be able to keep busy and/or be foreced into a direction. :)

If DC and Rochester were closer, we could hang out and be directionless together. It would be kinda like college all over again. Except we have a lot more married friends...
