My grandmother is having knee replacement surgery on both her knees next week. She'll be going into a rehab facility at first, but when she comes home she'll need a lot of help. It is baseball season my friends! My goal of going to more games this summer begins tonight! As it turns out my Mom is also attending the game tonight with her friend. She was quite excited about being able to call me with her cell phone to try and find me. It is also Dollar Dog Night! We'll probably all freeze, but who cares? It will be fun.

I was settling down to watch the first new House in ages, when I got the call that my cousin's girlfriend gave birth! I have a new baby cousin and it's a girl!! I cannot wait to see pictures and then eventually get up to Maine to meet her!

Last night I attended my step-cousin's (he's probably not even really that, but that's what we've decided to go with) Winter Concert at his elementary school (my alma-mater!). I think this is the first Black Friday in ages that I have been here. Cannot complain too much because I am leaving at 11:00.  By this time tomorrow I should be on my way to the lake in Maryland for a mini-vacation of sorts. My Dad, sister, and I are taking my grandmother to her lake house to get it ready to close up for the Winter. It will also be the first time she has been since my grandfather's passing.
