Reminder: Life Doesn't Suck
Life is seriously trying to kill me, people. My advisor is a raving lunatic who seems to think I do nothing with my life other than work for her and my cat has made friends with a skunk and I'm semi-broke again (for a reason that is not my fault and should be remedied shortly). *sigh* Also, it's looking more and more like I'll finish my thesis this summer and defend next fall because the due dates for this summer are coming up too fast.
Anyways, some cool fandom things that have happened lately:
1. Posted my first art for a fandom challenge \o/
2. Realized the short fic I wrote for spnkink_meme has more comments than anything I've written in my journal! (This could be construed as a bad thing, but since all the comments were really sweet, I'll take the love where I can get it.)
3. I've been made a permanent reccer over at sawedoff_recs! I actually just did my fourth post tonight of short summer-themed J2 fics. The Big Bang retrospective posts went really well.
4. spn_j2_bigbang 2011 has started! Now I just need to make time to read (i.e. FINISH THESIS).
ANYWAYS, going back to work now... Cheers all!
