All Dressed Up...
I am all decked out in a pretty white outfit today, with a white hat completing the ensemble, and it's not for any particular reason, just mostly because all my other pants are dirty.
I am now an official member of the Consumers Cooperative Credit Union. I was going to wait until I got a job, but as that doesn't look like it's going to be happening anytime soon... The CLC bookstore isn't hiring. I'm seriously tempted to say "Screw my bad back!" and get a job across the street at Charcoal Delight's. Sure, it's not nearly glamorous work, but if it didn't totally kill my back, it'd be doable. We'll see.
I'm sad Off-Kilter isn't doing the Milwaukee Irish Fest this year. It was so fun last year - our whole family (sans Grandma) actually had fun together. *sniff* Maybe next year.
Feel like a major bum lately. I didn't do anything on Monday. I ran errands yesterday and rented Little Voice (to see cutesy Ewan, of course), The Ref (which I couldn't remember the name of and just magically managed to see it on the shelf and have my brain go "click!"), and the DVD of Vanilla Sky. I wanted there to be outtakes, but no. Still, I had fun watching the director's commentary until Eric came home and kicked me out of the living room. Cameron Crowe is awesome!
I have many books to read now, and research to do for the sequel to Stay Anyway. Plus, I have 3 scholarship applications due next Weds.
