So, it's been a while... I've been trying to write in a "real" journal for the past couple of months, but that hasn't really been working either, so I just gave up trying to do "regular" updates of any kind.
Anyway.
I completed my CNA course... I actually kind of miss it--everyday was so much fun & everyone in the class was awesome, plus I miss getting to have lunch w/ Christy everyday! The 2 clinical days were really a great experience. It was tough, but I'm glad I got the opportunity to do it... I had the sweetest little 97-year-old lady that I & another person was assigned to take care of for the 2 days. We had to do pretty much EVERYTHING for her--she was bedridden. It makes me nervous thinking about having to do all that stuff when I actually get that type of job & will be getting paid to do those things... My state test to get my certification is a week from today, at 4pm...so I've got a lot of reviewing to do between now and then.
Two weekends ago, I went w/ Christy & her mom, niece, & nephew to Holiday World...which was AWESOME... We spent most of the time in the waterpark. There was an old man there dressed up as Santa Claus, asking little kids if they wanted to "ring his bells." Hilarious. My sunburn still hasn't completely disappeared but it was well worth it.
This past Saturday, Bryon and I went to King's Island... I had some coupons from work that were good for $25 off the regular ticket price, so since neither of us had to work, we took advantage of that. I'd never been before--I loved it, we had a lot of fun (even though Bryon did a lot of complaining)... I hope Christy & I can go there sometime before the summer's up, or before the rest of my coupons expire!
I got a new phone today...I was probably due for a new one at least 2 years ago, or at least after the Dinosaur World incident! hahaha.... Anyway, it's a platinum silver RAZR... I love it. I was going to get my own plan today too, but I won't be able to for about 60 days or something like that. I don't remember all the details, except that in 2 months I can start paying my own bill...
Bryon came over last night for a while. I hope to see him tonight too, but I guess it depends on how "tired" he is...
