Through rose-colored glasses...
So, today was a really good day. I've been having lots of those lately, it seems...how abnormal, haha.
Anyway, I worked from 11:30 to 6:30 and even working was okay today--the day went by kind of fast & I stayed busy with stuff that made it go by fast. After work, I went to Applebee's to meet the people I worked with at Jeff. Mall for dinner at 7:00, and that was really fun...I always have a good time with them. Kayla even came this time--she never got to come before because she always had to work. Meijer's scheduling has always sucked big ones. We didn't leave until almost 10:00, and later I went over to Bryon's and stayed until he was incapacitated with drowsiness, which wasn't long at all, but he's had a long day.
Speaking of Bryon, I've really felt a lot closer to him lately....that's not to say that I haven't always, but for some reason recently, it just seems a lot stronger... I don't know if it has anything to do with the fact that my hormones are no longer raging from the latest destruction of the lining of my uterus...but I'm probably happier with him now than I've ever been. He gets on my nerves every once in a while, but that's only normal & healthy.
Random fact of the day: while I was working today, Mr. Veeneman from middle school came into the store. He didn't see me & I didn't say anything to him, he probably wouldn't have remembered me anyway. But it was definitely him, and he was with a woman.
Tomorrow's agenda: hanging out w/ Christy--she's finally back from Florida! I'm sure we'll have a lot of catching up to do.
Hopefully I'll get to see Bryon tomorrow night & the rest of the days before he leaves for Ohio on Thursday...he'll be gone until Sunday or Monday. Too long!!
