alive and well
Wow, so I got really bad about this whole keeping people updated thing.
I'm in my second week at the newspaper.
I have an apartment, the one I wanted.
I have IKEA furniture and work clothes.
And Bills. I have bills, bills, bills.
And I cook dinner and lunch every day! And I only eat out when someone else is buying!
And I get up at 6:15 every day and start to get sleepy at 11.
All in all, I'm a grown up.
But it's not so bad. The other day I interviewed a man who was a former preacher and he literally asked me to pray with him for my story. It was surreal, to say the least.
Also, I have a new cell phone number and address. If you would like either or both, shoot me an email or something.
OH, that reminds me. Those Adelphia bastards came to install cable and internet on saturday and they left and made everything seem good to go. And then I went to plug my Internet in and OF COURSE something is wrong with the modem's signal. So now I'll probably have to wait another entire week to see when they can get that fixed. So I can only use the internet at work for now, and the boss man blocked myspace and facebook. Ouch, I know.
But anyways. I miss everyone and somebody PlEASE come visit. I don't have no friends yet in the Burg. lol
