Wow!  Today Dominic stood up by himself for the first time.  I was not expecting this so soon.  I was folding diapers in his room as he was playing.  I stood up and turned away from him to put them all away in his drawer and when I turned back around he had pulled himself up into a standing position using his little footstool.  It was very exciting ( Read more... )

Dominic has been doing so well with eating solid foods!  It's been fun but very messy so far.  Last Friday, he started on oatmeal and loved it!  He finished the whole bowl and then tried to eat the bowl.  It was cute.  He's also eating two meals a day now - breakfast and dinner.  So far, he's not much of a breakfast eater.  I make him three ( Read more... )

In my efforts to be green and eco-friendly I've tried to consume less plastic and therefor create less trash.  However, trying to balance what is good for us and what's good for the planet is difficult at times.  The cheaper options tend to be plastic or wrapped up in plastic.  It makes me sad and frustrated because I want to do what is right and ( Read more... )
