Manga Chapter 444: Drastic Battle

Ok, I'm going to do this a little differently this time. I'm going to write my thoughts out as I read the chapter. Here we go...
Cool-looking cover with Inuyasha and Koga. The name "Drastic Battle" amuses me for some reason.
Page 2 - Whoa, Koga actually looks genuinely concerned for Inuyasha's safety. This can't be good for the "Koga will survive" theory.
Page 3 - Whoa-ho-ho, and now Inuyasha is trying to get Koga out of there for his own good. The slash writers will have a field day. ;)
Page 4 - The evil baby makes an appearance in Inuyasha's thoughts. Ok, this brings me to another thing I've been thinking about. The baby is Naraku's heart. In order to kill Naraku, they're going to have to kill the baby. But when it gets right down to it, faced with a helpless baby, could they really kill it? Now, I know it's an EVIL baby, and all, but still, no way is she gonna draw Inuyasha killing a baby. ...er...right?...
Page 9 - WHOAAAA...Inuyasha punching Koga to try to get him out of harm's way, thinking of his safety before his own...Inuyasha/Koga, OTP, anyone? It's so rare we see Inuyasha "just" punch somebody. Not to mention, Inuyasha called him "Koga" and not "Wimpy Wolf". Has that ever happened before?
Page 10 - Uh oh, Midoriko's will is at it again, freezing Koga's legs. That bitch. See, this is why women should stay in the kitchen where they belong. *is pelted with tomatoes* Just kidding. ^.^;;
Ok, before I click on page 11, I'll make my prediction for the next panel. My guess: It will either be Koga getting skewered by Mouryoumaru's tentacles, or it will be Inuyasha saving Koga somehow. Let's see...
Page 11 - Eh, I was close. Koga's legs being grabbed by the tentacles. Again, Inuyasha shows his concern and calls him by his proper name. He's not even thinking about losing the jewel shards, he's just concerned with Koga's life.
Page 13 - Sango asking Kikyo and Kohaku if there's another way without letting Kohaku die....Kohaku saying he's already made up his mind. Aw, that's so sad. Poor kid. Poor Sango. Ack.
Page 14 - Ooo, looks like we've got a little Sango vs. Kikyo action going on here. You know, I don't even think these two characters have ever really talked before.
Page 17 - Oh look, Kagome's off to save the day. Good thing too, those boys really need some help. ...Whoa, total diss by Kikyo about Kagome. "Kagome, what can you do?" Ouch, burn.
Page 18 - And of course, cliffhanger ending! DUN DUN DUN!
Well, pretty exciting chapter. One week can never come soon enough.
