Speaking of Batman...
I detailed my thoughts on the possibility of Catwoman appearing in a future Nolan film in this comment made in the recent Batman poll I made.
In the comment, I said, "At this point, I'm not sure if I want to see Catwoman in the Nolanverse yet."
Consider my opinion officially changed, and it all has to do with two words:
Rachel Weisz.
All of a sudden, it struck me yesterday when I saw this pic of Catwoman and a movie poster for My Blueberry Nights with Rachel Weisz on it.
Don't their faces look eerily similar?
Of course, physical likeness isn't really important (case in point, Cillian Murphy looks nothing like Jonathan Crane in the comics), but the image gave me a sudden realization that Rachel Weisz would make an excellent Catwoman.
She's one of the most talented and interesting actresses around, and she's the right age for the part, being only 3 years older than Christian Bale. (And she's British, which is almost a prerequisite for casting in this movie series.) ;)
The thought of her and Christian Bale acting together? Wow. That would be awesome.
Of course, I suppose she would make a great Talia as well, or any number of female characters. But I can totally see her giving Catwoman a real edge and charisma.
