1. There were shirtless construction workers in my living room when I got up this morning. They're installing hardwood flooring or something. There will be half-naked, muscular men wearing toolbelts and walking around my house all week and I plan to enjoy it. *winknod@icon*
2. I rewatched last night's episode of Standoff and you know what? It's even better when you can actually understand what they're saying. I love Emily. I love Matt. I love Matt and Emily. Because she has a breakdown and feels like she failed to help someone and maybe this fixing broken people and putting your heart and soul on the line isn't worth it after all... And Matt tells her he grew up with an asshole father whose credo was that people suck and they're not worth the trouble because they'll end up hurting you if you try to help them. But he says: "I grew up with that. But I like your version better." I can't even begin to explain why I love people like Emily and Jack and Cameron so much and why I need people like Matt to tell them that yes, their version is better. It's only TV after all...
3. Speaking of my girlcrush... I need an icon and an LJ header that features Cameron and I was wondering if anyone can point me to some quality Cameron screencaps. The Christmas ep. of House kicked ass and I'm very glad I started watching this show. It's too late for a review and I still have a lot to learn about the characters, but let it be known that I stand by Wilson. Yes, I was surprised that he left House on the floor, but even I knew he wasn't going to die/go into a coma so I assume he knew it too, what with having a medical degree and whatnot.
