Is anyone on my flist watching Standoff? I know
dryope does, but other than that... does that show even have a fandom at all?
I don't know if it's because I'm a wide-eyed n00b, but I think I'm watching a very, very good cop show with awesome characters... did I stumble upon a really good episode tonight or is it always like this? I'm kind of in love with Emily
...and I think this is an excellent episode for her. I've also seemed to have landed in the middle of something developing between her and Matt, but I don't care. It doesn't annoy me and it's actually kind of interesting and real, but I don't care.
I watched last week and wasn't entirely convinced, but they hooked me this week when the SUV drove through the garage door in the first few minutes.
The only thing that annoys me is that I can't really hear what they're saying between all the shooting and all the noises coming from kids who don't want to go to sleep. Like right now... I'm pretty sure Matt and Emily are having an important conversation in a very tense moment, but I can't hear shit through all the commotion. I've recorded it so I have to rewatch.
I'll be back with House thoughts later. I think I kinda have an idea about where they're at the moment because I watched the previous ep, but... I still need to learn A LOT about these people.
I love Cameron. This is going to be a disclaimer I put at the beginning of each post about House so that people who don't like her can skip it.
