 I like the changes I have made, and the feedback from a close friend made it so much more worth it.

But I don't want this to be an endpoint by any means.  I'm still on my way to a better me, and right now it's the little steps that matter.

I'm determined to do my best to love this year and to love myself.

Some days happen, and they feel like presents you never thought you'd receive, not because you didn't feel worthy of them, but because you just don't expect them to come to you. I am so tired of the John C. Young thing right now. I have been over all this stuff so many times, I can't wait to turn it in and be done with it. At least until the interviews, assuming they give me one. Let me start off my saying, I f-ing love summer break. I love being home and shmoozing with the folks. I love staying up hella late because I might not have anything to do the next day. Because I was so busy studying during my senior year of high school, I lost touch with my on-line friends. What a nice, relaxing Saturday I had! I awoke at 2:30 in the afternoon and took my time preparing for the day. I only studied for about five minutes before Kenny called with the movie plans for the night. Everyone was at the Nevin's dorm basement for Hook and pizza, so I grabbed my purse and walked over.
