I think my mind is made up.
This weekend, a wet spot formed in the carpeting near the air conditioning intake. One oval shaped island. J looked at and thinks the condensation run off line is probably backed up.
When I got home today, the house smelled like sour milk. Yup, it's the carpeting. Which means it's probably forming mold/ mildew,which means the whole carpet will likely have to be replaced.
So. $100k under value. Crazy neighbors with hammers. Possible drug deals in the parking lot. Carpenter ants. Occasional plumbing issues. Rotting, smelly carpet in the living room.
Yup, I think it's time to just go ahead and do whatever I need to do just to get my dad off the paperwork and be done with this place.
