I couldn't sleep all night cause of the hacking and not breathing and the constant I'm cold no I'm hot going on. Even my NyQuil had limited effect on keeping me asleep. Yep. I stayed home today. I hate being sick, it's so freakin miserable. And I started my dot on top of the lovely cold, so I've got that added extra fun. I think I'm gonna 'call in' tomorrow as well. Ok, so, making good on my promise to myself to go to the doctor, I went. The doctor says that my lungs have basicly become irritated and inflamed from all the coughing which makes me cough more. And the pain in my chest and shortness of breath is from the coughing itself. This is common after viral infections (like a cold). So, to help me get rid ( Read more... )

I had to go home yesterday from work. I felt utterly wretched.
