Yet again...
Yeah, another entry on the same day...so sue me! Anyways, I thought maybe I would write about why I originally started this livejournal. I was just wanted to say that my new college friends are really amazingly great!
So, I have a college family. Yes, that's right, Stink has nicknamed our little group the college family. Stink, Laury, Jake, Cullen, Whitaker and I were the original members and we added Roxy soon after. I love you guys and it is SO wonderful how you support me in everything. You come to my aid when I need you the most and we always have so much fun hanging out together. Hanging out at Mercer and going to Gasworks late at night is ALWAYS entertaining! And of course, there is the cereal room! Thanks guys, you all are so great!
First of all, Alysa. We are going to be roommates next year and we are going to have such a good time! One of the best advantages will be when we have to wake each other up for 8:30 calls on gamedays! She is my best piccolo bud ever and most marching band people think we are inseparable/the same person/whatever. Yeah, okay, so the names are the same, but whatever. She is the Lizzie to my Miranda (see above, and yes, I am a nerd!). I have met some cool people from Graham and other places through her and she is the BEST influence on me for going to go practice and deciding to be a music major. Plus, we have it all worked out for our careers: I am going to write film music, but I want to play in the orchestra, so after I compose it, she is going to conduct it and I am going to play it; it will be wonderful! We both LOVE play orchestral picc, but are also okay with playing flute too, so it can be like Courtney and me in high school, except we will trade off on picc. She is a member of the Friday-Night-Movie-Marathon and go to Ian's and buy a bunch of crap, including Funyuns (or something onion-y), Pocky sticks (strawberry is usually the preference) and two drinks, usually an Izze and something else, often a Jones soda. I love it because she lets me complain to her and she not only understands, but she lets me talk. Thank you so much Lys, I love you!
Next is Miss Kayla. We are exactly the same person. I'm not even kidding. The way we think, act, things we like and don't like, history of relationships and life, BAND (although, yes, she is not as intense about it as me) and so much other. She is the first person I met when I moved into the dorms and we have become closer and closer throughout the year. She often comes to hang out with the college family because she knew Whitty before school, and now (obviously) knows the rest of them. We hang out all the time and we are new swimming buddies, plus she is my party girl! A lot of the time, especially at nights, you can find me over in her room with Emi or she will be in my room! I love you so much Kay, thanks for being so great!
There are so many other wonderful friends I have, and DO NOT WORRY! I will include you all! I love you all!
