My girl!
I love looking back at fun things that happened in high school with friends. It's really funny to think about how you became friends with people. Like Courtney, we were in band together, but I remember in like 8th grade the first time I called her to see if she wanted to hang out outside of school. We went to the Folklife Festival or whichever one is at Seattle Center with my family and we just walked around having a good time. One year I went with her family to Osoyoos in Canada for summer vacation and we had such a good time even just driving up there. We followed our route on the map EXACTLY and so now I've heard of all these crazy random towns in northeastern Washington. One really big thing in both of our lives was playing flute. But I loved playing piccolo too. So we had it all worked out. Senior year, Court would play first flute and I would play piccolo and then we would both be happy and we would both get good parts and solos. For three years we have been in the Studio's summer production pit orchestras. We would always go and get passion ice tea lemonades from Starbucks before rehearsals and shows; she's the one who introduced me to that drink in the first place! I don't know, there is so much to write about, but now that she goes to school in California, it is weird, but I feel like that has brought us even closer. I love you Court!
