On Sunday, The Horror Film Buff arranged for a group of people to meet at the Franklin Institute to see their special exhibit, "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination."

Yay! I got to see "The Magic of Myth" while it was at the Air & Space in DC, and it was quite literally awe-inspiring. Yay that you got to see this!

Off-topic: The purple shirt you're wearing in the photo with the Wookiees seems to be a really flattering color for you, at least if my monitor gamma is normal, etc.

We had fun with it. I'd gotten to see a few props from the original Star Wars movies on our honeymoon in Orlando last fall, which are housed at MGM-Disney Studios. This was the first chance, though, to see some of the models. I had a weird moment where I thought, "What a nice model of the Millennium Falcon." And the next minute, I realized, "No, that's the only Millennium Falcon that ever existed!

Thanks for the compliment on the shirt. I'm lucky in that purple is one of my favorite colors and also tends to look good on me.

Of course, being photographed with two Wookiees automatically makes you the most fashionable one in the picture, Tarfful's dreadlocks notwithstanding. ;)
