Today has been a really nice day, and I have no idea why I was freaking out about my sister coming to stay with me.

It physically hurts to laugh but this cheered me up in ways I can't begin to express.

My sister's here, she brought me home and insisted I take a rest and stop acting like I feel fine. She's getting groceries now and I'm trying to figure out if I should give in and take the damn percocet.

Maybe I'll just re-watch more AI episodes instead.

I spent the night in the ER. I was put on an IV and a catheter and after 3 ultrasounds and an internal exam, I was diagnosed with a 10 inch and a 5 inch cyst on my ovary. I went into surgery at 10:30am and the next thing I knew it was 5:30. They had to remove my right ovary and tube but luckily it was laposcropic surgery so as soon as I said I ( Read more... )

I'm in a hospital gown, I have an IV, I'm about to drink a bunch of foul stuff so they can do a cat scan, lying flat on my back makes me cry and I want my mom. The doctor thinks it might be appendicitis.

This is just way outside my comfort zone. I've never been in the hospital, I never get sick.

I'm back in Durham. My flight got in an hour ago and now I'm in the ER waiting to be seen. I've been in unbearable pain since noon, sat in the airport for 4 hours and through 2 flights convincing myself it would go away.
