Fun things. I can't sleep for real, so I decided to run some numbers on a 4-plex in Silverlake I saw on craigslist. The final tally is that apartment buildings are expensive, and I'll never have enough money for a down payment on a million-dollar building.

Current weight: 227 lbs

OK kids, in fifteen months I've put on 40 pounds. That's so not good. From this time forward, this LJ will also be used to chronicle my efforts to a) lose weight and b) become more healthy and shit.

Got out of work early and what do I do? I squander my time doing laundry and bullshit like that. I am a boring old man.

My sweetie, her friend and I went to Mezbaan in Old Town to eat last night. The food was decent-a little delicate for my taste, and a little not-spicy-enough, actually-but the service was pretty damn bad. Weird. I just had a former Survivor contestant in my apartment learning how to edit video. We chatted for a bit about the show. Apparently, there was a crew of like thirty people that was never, ever on screen, and helicopters circled the island constantly, spying on the contestants with long-ass lenses.
