Savour Every Moment of Love and Hate: Part 7
Sian sat quietly in the living room staring at the fire illuminating from the fire place, while her daughter was upstairs playing with a friend. Sian out of nowhere felt tears sting her eyes after replaying todays events...well the phonecall with sophie. "Fuck!" sian swore as she wiped her tears quickly, taking in deep breaths.
I shouldnt have taken riley away from her or said any of those horrible things....god sian your such an idiot sometimes you know that!!! sian thought furious with herself as she started shaking her head. Sian reached for her phone and texted sophie.
After a while of crying sophie finally stopped and made a fire, she never really like fireplaces but they started growing on her since sian used to make one all the time. Sophie sat infront of the fire, watching the logs of wood burn away slowly just like her life was. Sophie unclipped her necklace, sliding off the delicate and precious ring,holding it in her fingers loosely. She didnt need it anymore, it was useless.
Sophie turned the ring and read the engraving in gold. Sian Powers, Forever and Always. Sophie took a deep breath and looked into the blazing fire, she was about to flip the ring into the fire when her phone went off. Sophie sighed annoyed as she reached back onto the coffee table and saw the name. Perfect bloody timing she thought annoyed as she read the text.
To Sophie: Soph...i just want 2 apologise 4 evrythin tday. I should hav never taken riley from u or said any of those horrible things, i was just angry and upset all at once. So im really sorry, sian x
Sophie sighed as she put her phone down, she looked at the ring and sighed annoyed, sliding the ring back onto the necklace, sophie then clipped it back around her neck. She couldnt help but look back at the message and notice the kiss at the end. Sophie smiled a little as she picked her phone up and started typing back.
Sian sat anxiously on the couch waiting for a reply, checking her phone every few seconds. She stared into the fire and reached into her jeans pocket, pulling out a silver diamond ring. It was the one sophie gave her on their wedding day.
She placed it between her fingers, observing it. She knew this ring cost a lot of money by the look of it, sian closed her eyes and smiled as she back tracked her life to all the happy moments her and sophie shared. God there were so many!
Sian was in thought when her phone went off. She instantly shot her eyes open and quickly got her phone reading the text.
