On Thursday, Popeye's Copyright expires in the European Union.

Two more maps of mine have been selected for publication. The newest ESRI Map Book will be out in July 2009. This is the third year in a row that I've been selected for that publication, and the first time I will have two maps appearing in the publication.

GIS Day
Wednesday was GIS Day around the world, and I hosted a large event at work once again. This year, we had about 150 people, and 150 kids show up and tour around the different things that we do. It was great fun, and lot of hard work, but a great way to advertise to my Command and the people we serve exactly what we do. It was very well received.

Rocket Race Recap
As I mentioned on Saturday, mutarada, brianrubin, the LJ-less Todd (aka Autobot) and I participated in the 3rd Annual San Diego Rocket Race yesterday. The Rocket Race is hosted by jawajames .
