GIS Day
Wednesday was GIS Day around the world, and I hosted a large event at work once again. This year, we had about 150 people, and 150 kids show up and tour around the different things that we do. It was great fun, and lot of hard work, but a great way to advertise to my Command and the people we serve exactly what we do. It was very well received.
To celebrate, the City of Austin's GIS staff, who are *very* creative, put together a video again this year. This year is sung to 'It's the End of the World As We Know It' by REM.
