usually happens because people are too lazy to leave their locale. This is what I'm going to assume instead of loathing myself because I opted for Queens over Brooklyn. Once two or three rock clubs pop up here, and people on the N/W trains start to become AS attractive as those on the L and 4 trains (instead of HALF as attractive, which is a step up from a QUARTER as attractive, which was the case when I moved here in 2004), Queens will be just as hopping. It's already HALF as hopping, which is a step up from...oh never mind.
I just can't believe it has gotten to the point where two girls actually scoffed at me for where I live at a backyard Park Slope party. That is not what I aspire to. If that's gonna be the attitude, I want to be as far from there as possible. But I know we disagree on this to the point where we're snarling teeth at each other.
