I went to Broadstairs over the weekend with Ruth & Paul to spend some time by the sea in the wind, and so I wouldn't have to do any work for a couple of days. It was windswept and lovely and we walked a long long way and ate a lot.
I am supposed to be starting my access course at Birkbeck on Friday this week/ Monday next week and they haven't even enrolled me yet. I have had a nice email to say that they're going to though, so I'm trying not to freak out.
My office is all excitable because we're suing the guy we fired a couple of weeks ago. Apparently he's managed to make off with a couple of grand so far, but bossman's still 'gathering evidence', so it could be more. His new wife has also been in touch and is apparently buggering off. I feel a bit sorry for him.
I had my appraisal at work on Friday, and bossman says he can only give me 2.5% on the basis that he can't afford any more. So I'm looking for a new job again. I need to save up as much cash as possible so I can eat and stuff when I go to Uni next year.
I'm slowly working through, putting all the clothes that I've shrunk out of on ebay. Hopefully the resulting millions of paypal pounds will pay for xmas.
I have bought a ridiculous hat over the weekend. It pleases me as only stupid headwear can.
