It was actually the ending of Forest of the Dead that caused me the most consternation of any scene in season 4 (well, discounting Journey’s End, because, really, that’s a whole barrel full of monkeys that my mind doesn’t want to unpack).

( Cut because of some philosophical musing on River Song's fate... are we still cutting for season 4?... oh well, just in case )

I mostly ignored the American remake of 'Life on Mars' because lets face it, we all knew it was going to be a crapfest. But  I just saw a review for the series final over at jigglykat's journal. I'm only passing this message on because I think moirasaoirse and a few others who watch me will get a laugh from it.

I find myself in a situation that is making me particularly unhappy because I entered into it for all the wrong reasons. I made my choice almost solely to make other people happy (or rather, because I thought that's what they expected/wanted of me) and because I didn't see a better option for myself.
