In other news, it took over two and a half hours to commute home today (instead of the normal max of one hour), meaning I had to miss my Friday night football altogether, as it would have been almost finished by the time I got home.
This, because it snowed. The country (at least, the bit of the country where I live) ground to a halt.
This is Scotland. It snows. You'd think the people who live here would be used to it, and you'd think the local authorities would be able to react to it, and get the gritters out on the roads. Neither, sadly, seems to be the case.
I was not amused.
