My New Toy.
And yes, I realise it's not uber-powerful, but, coupled with my newly purchased (but sadly not yet arrived) wireless modem router, it should provide 'net access around the home. As well as being a portable media player (also streaming media from my PC via said network), and allowing me to read this birthday present without having to park myself in front of the PC.
Also, no more fights over the PC.

Should have mentioned - despite both the Acer and ebuyer website saying it comes with an X600, it came with an X700. Also, it wasn't an 80Gb HDD - it was a 100Gb HDD. These are the sort of errors and omissions we like!
